ARPANET built, a computer communication structure linking universities and government institutions. One of the few pre-Sol events that is explicitly called out, in the lore of HSD1.0 the text mentions a precursor to the modern internet. This is almost certainly ARPANET, the packet-switching network that was the backbone of the original internet.
