Welcome to Radio Free Deimos! Currently drifting in the void of space! This week, 2.0 in review, or preview, or just on Kickstarter, and the hosts talk about family in HSD.

Episode #43 – 2.0 In Pre-Review, Families

Show notes coming soon…increasingly less true every time I say it.

Obviously the big important link here would be the one to the HSD 2.0 Kickstarter! Check it out, tell them Radio Free Deimos sent you. Maybe they’ll give us another space station.

Big apologies for the delay on posting this episode. All the way back on August 1, Sev invited us to another playtest game, and with 2.0’s launch on the near horizon, this was a really exciting opportunity and we jumped on it. The sessions were pretty long, on the order of two hours, audio levels were more than a bit uneven, and there were loads of technical difficulties across all three sessions. I spent a week of free time trying to edit the sessions down to good audio, but in the end, the edits didn’t really improve the experience, and it looks like E3 was lost to the mists of time–discord experienced a series of roving blackouts that hit every player, and I think Sev must have decided the entire thing was unsalvageable. (Episode 2 here).

And then the convention preparation hit for Whines and my home convention, Alamo City Furry Invasion, which hits next week!

So this episode is a bit of a rush, and the slowest rush you’ll ever see, but it was a nice conversation on family dynamics in HSD, and a lot of talk over the new rules, which, by and large, we’re solidly in favor of.

With thanks to Sirius Beat for our intro music, “Future Club,” and outro music, “Tronicles.” Our fun, modular header art is by Absyfield , (Thank you Ashley!) and Whines is our audio engineer.
