Cyrenium

Zone:

Mars

Where/When:

A massive territory stretching from the oceans to the frozen south, west of Lake Argyre and east of Lake Hellas

Need to Know (Before you Go):

“Comfort” is the name of the game in a region contracted to ASR five hundred years ago. As much of the architecture and amenities are virtual as are physical, so depending on your personal settings and levels of cyber augmentation, your experience may be very different than your travelling companions. ASR corptowns can be expensive, both in terms of local fees and pop-up driven impulse purchases (blink twice to purchase!), but on the plus side, it’s almost impossible to get lost.

GM Notes

This is a non-canon article/region, and assumes that MarsCo allowed its original three spinoffs to settle some tracts of less desirable land.

Here, Cyrenium is presented as something like ASR’s homeland. It’s a true corpnation, as big as a Terran continent, and across the territory you can find pockets spanning 700 years of technological development, a region of science and comfort where the occasional island of beta test is preserved like a theme park.
